today is the greatest

today is the best day ever. or at least the best day of the week. I was supposed to read some texts for tommorow but my friend told me they're boring so I didn't. That's why I'm sitting in the library reading the mysteries of Pittsburgh and listening to surfer blood. It's awesome. I'll probably go to class later. My English professor is awesome, tuesday she told me to shut up because I was talking to my friends all the time. I really contemplate doing it again.

I'm probably pretty late on this one but did anyone realize how many awesome bands are releasing new albums this year? Stars, Broken Social Scene, Arcade Fire, The National, The Hold Steady, Wolf Parade... That's like every single mid-2000s indie band.

So I went to american apparel today and there was like 10 people in the store and they all looked like typical hipsters. I was pretty surprised because South Beach isnt really the most alternative neighborhood but then 3 of those guys told about some new special offer and 2 others offered to help me picking a shirt. I wonder if AA just hires some random person and then dresses them up so they look like AA employees. It definitely seemed like that because it was like diversity heaven. There was a black girl, a hispanic guy, a fat white dude, a surfer bro and a tiny alt girl who opened one of the fitting rooms for me. When I left the store, 2 of those guys, a girl and a guy, started posing in one of the windows. The guy was hot. Tan, kinda longish hair and wore skimpy shorts, a wifebeater and flip flops. I wanna look like that but everytime I spend more than 20 minutes in the sun, I get the worst sunburn, it sucks. I passed the store again like 20 minutes later but the hottie was gone from the window and I didn't wanna go inside again because that wouldve been weird. Maybe I'll go there tomorrow, but I've no idea idea what I'll do if he's there. Maybe ask him how to look so good if you dindnt grow up in southern fl...

So this is me doing my 1st post, reaching out to the world, discovering the wonders of the information superhighway etc etc... Don't know if this gonna be a 'life'/'music'/'vintage skate movies' blog. I'll probably end up forgetting or deleting this, but if I don't (!), u can brace ur self for some serious awesomeness! ... haha jk

I guess most ppl introduce themselves in their first post and say things like "hi i'm bob, and i always wanted to share the joys i've experienced since the day my mom got me into competitive lawn mowing", but I won't be boring you with such miniscule details of utter unimportance this shit. Let's just say I'm a chill bro.

And even if this will never have more than 3 views per month, I think it's still pretty cool as some sorta 'time capsule' (without all the digging), something that can give the ppl in the future some insight into the 'life of a bored teenager' back in the good ole time when kanye still was a big meanie to a lil girl and the internet cared. I just don't know if the future guys will care coz they will definitely have some pretty sweet hoverbikes to screw around with!

So yeah can't believe i spent 2 hours thinking of a name an then like half a day just to write this...
